DG WORKS EDIT CHALLENGE 2: ROLLERS
THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION IS OVER AT THIS TIME. WINNERS ANNOUNCED BY THE END OF APRIL. STAY TUNED FOR OUR NEXT EDITING CHALLENGE!
INTRODUCTION
I am David Glessner, photographer and owner of DG WORKS. We are a professional media production company based in Denver & beyond. Our team specializes in producing high quality photo/video content in the automotive, lifestyle, and product industry.
I wanted to create these editing challenges to provide you with quality RAW photos for you to put your signature sauce on & it’s a chance to see other people’s creativity & imagination go wild! To show how many different ways a single photo or selection of photos can be edited.
PURPOSE
The main objective is to provide editing challenges that offer different solutions or results. Our first editing challenge was to edit 3 photos that are all in the same set but each have 3 very different lighting situations. This next challenge is going to be a bit more simple; edit some tracking shots, also known as “rollers.”
The RAW photos are available to download for anyone, so everyone can participate. Feel free to just edit one photo, you don’t have to edit all of them.
Scroll to the bottom of this page to access the download link, just don’t forget to read the guidelines!
REWARDS
Our first challenge didn’t have any rewards besides bragging rights. But this time, there will be prizes for the top 3 overall edits (3 PARTICIPANTS WILL BE AWARDED) The grand prize wins a signed & dated Limited Edition print from one of our curation of photos. You pick the photo, we’ll print & ship them!
